I was born in Detroit Michigan in 1962 and became interested if not obsessed with art at a very early age. From the time I was in grade school I studied and dissected the Renaissance.
My family moved to Central Ohio in 1971. By the time I was in High School I was making trips to museums to photograph and study the works I found captivating. I began to exhibit in group and solo exhibitions.
I have maintained a studio in Columbus and in Circleville for many years as I continue to exhibit and work on commissions. My work is in private and corporate collection all over the United States and abroad..
I have a passion for teaching art and utilizing every exhibit as a tool to inspire young people to create and never give up. Many times I offer classes or drawing sessions in conjunction with exhibits.
After exhibiting in the Short North Arts District for 7 years, I decided in 2008 to focus on more alternative exhibit spaces and opportunities to show work in public spaces. I exhibit in 3 or 4 galleries each year and maintain a collection of framed works and themes at my studio.
My passion always has been and will continue to be the expansion of the arts in every way.
